Dejected Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag repeats excuse after Dave Brailsford watches loss | Football | Sport

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has blamed his side’s injury struggles for their defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening. The Red Devils were beaten 2-1 at the City Ground in a poor display that highlighted numerous issues within the squad.

Speaking about the defeat, Ten Hag said: “We know the reasons why it is not working. No team can deal with so many issues and injuries we have had. We should still have done better and we have depth in the squad. When you have so many injuries, the depth is not enough.”
