Manchester United are reportedly intensifying their efforts to sign Ecuadorian starlet Oscar Zambrano.
The midfielder has impressed over the past 12 months with LDU Quito, and his performances has caught the attention of scouts around Europe.
United are among those in the mix to secure his signature, and Diario Ole Ecuador report that Erik ten Hag’s side are now ‘accelerating’ their efforts to sign the youngster.
Bournemouth, Luton Town and Brighton have all been credited with holding an interest in Zambrano this week, but United would like to strike a deal with Quito imminently – and he would become their fifth piece of business of the window, with Jadon Sancho’s loan move to Borussia Dortmund edging closer.
