The likes of Nick Kygrios have joined, giving fans a look at their preparation and lifestyle away from the sporting spotlight.

And a recent study by FootyAccumulators has crunched the numbers to look at which managers would rake in the most cash if they were to sign up.

The betting site compared the managers’ number of followers against a sign up offer of £5 and found some surprising results as to which gaffers would make the most money.

Coming out on top was ex-Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, who has won the Champions League three times as a coach.

Zidane balanced his playing career with modelling back in the noughties as he became one of France‘s most marketable sports stars.

Given the fact the French legend is out of work at the moment, he could be tempted by the potential £162million a year he could earn from the site, according to the study.

Another out of work manager is Wayne Rooney, who appears second on the list.

Rooney was sacked by Birmingham this week after winning just two of his 15 games in charge.

He appears to be too busy coaching the likes of Jude Bellingham to do that however, having only just signed a new contract at Madrid that will keep him at the club until 2026, when he’ll be 67.

Saudi Arabia‘s strict modesty laws could complicate Steven Gerrard‘s foray into the platform but he does come fourth on the list – with a potential max earning of just under £45m.

It’s more than likely Al-Ettifaq remunerate him well enough already though, although he is said to be under pressure there.

Barcelona‘s Xavi and Bayer Leverkusen‘s Xabi Alonso come in at fifth and sixth on the list and are followed by Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola has modelled on Catalan catwalks in the past so should in theory be a natural on the platform.

Frank Lampard hasn’t managed since his interim stint at Chelsea last season and could make a total of £26.4m according to the study.

He pips his former mentor Jose Mourinho into eighth place, with ‘The Special One’ standing to make £14.9million if he joined the site – no wonder he recently launched a plea to Roma to extend his stay.

Vincent Kompany‘s 1.8m Instagram followers saw him come in at 10th, with Atletico Madrid‘s Diego Simeone just missing out on the top 10 in 11th.

The study also crunched the number’s on national treasure Neil Warnock, who was only handed 8,000 Instagram followers for his hypothetical account.

The study claimed he would stand to make £2,720 a month if he were to join the site, which wouldn’t be the most substantial boost to his pension compared to what other managers on the list stand to earn.
