Everton and Nottingham Forest ‘at risk of Prem points deduction over financial breaches’ | Football | Sport

That means both clubs could finish the season without knowing whether they will be slapped with any points deduction and their status for the forthcoming year, with May 19 hosting the Premier League’s final day.

Following Everton’s 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on Sunday, Toffees boss Sean Dyche admitted that he is still in the dark over any further punishments that the club may face.

“We are just waiting on the news,” Dyche said. “The last time the news came out of the blue as you know, it might do again, we have to wait and see. You don’t know until you know. I’ll explain further if and when the news comes through.”

Everton and Forest have been contacted for comment.
