Masters did confirm that the Premier League would hold a two-date meeting in the near future to discuss concerning matters within the sport, which includes their current Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

“On the first day we will be talking about financial regulation,” Masters said. “The current system, the PSR system, we are contemplating making some changes to that over time.”

He also added that “a date had been set” for City’s hearing regarding their charges, but refused to elaborate further: “I can’t tell you when that date is.”
