FA Cup third round replays LIVE: Everton hosting Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest taking on Blackpool – latest updates

Money-spinning tie on the line for winners

With the fourth round draw having already taken place, both Bristol Rovers and Norwich City know the reward for victory tonight.

Whoever comes out on top in this game will travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.

For League One Bristol Rovers, with TV revenues and gate receipts, this could prove to be quite the payday.

New manager immediately under spotlight

When he took over at the City Ground, Nuno Espirito Santo probably felt he knew what sort of pressures he would face in his new role.

One such problem he more than likely did not foresee was the club being charged with breaching the Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules.

Based on what happened to Everton earlier in the season, the potential is there for the club to be docked points as a result, further adding to their relegation worries.

Welcome to the FA Cup Third Round replays

With places in the next round up for grabs, the stakes are high for all the teams who could not be separated in their previous encounter.

Blackpool led two-nil at the City Ground but Nuno Espirito Santo’s side came back to draw level and the League One side managed to hold on for a draw.

They had Daniel Grimshaw to thank for the replay at Bloomfield Road after he made a number of saves late on to deny the Premier League outfit their winner.

League One outfit Bristol Rovers managed to get a creditable draw at Carrow Road as they faced Championship side Norwich City.

The hosts took the lead early on but the visitors were quick to reply with only five minutes between the goals.

Despite the Canaries dominating possession, it was an even game with both sides having chances to progress to the next round.

In an all Premier League encounter, Crystal Palace and Everton played out a goalless draw at Selhurst Park which failed to deliver to the build-up.

The most notable point was the sending off of Dominic Calvert Lewin which was overturned when Everton appealed his ban and will be available to seek revenge this evening.

Moyes regret

David Moyes says things didn’t go for his side in their cup dumping tonight.

The West Ham boss was quick to point out the exciting second half of the season his side have to look forward to though.

He told BBC: “Disappointed. Lots of things didn’t go for us tonight but overall disappointed.

“We had one or two opportunities, especially in the first half. Some good things but not enough to win the game.

“It is a blow because we would have liked to have been in the cup but we have Europe to look forward to in March and we are in a good position in the league, but we are disappointed to go out.”
