Man Utd ‘to allow EIGHTH player to leave on loan this month’ as Erik ten Hag continues Old Trafford overhaul

MANCHESTER UNITED will allow Dan Gore to leave on loan this month, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough year at Old Trafford, playing twice for the first-team this season.

But the club are keen to see the midfielder get more experience under his belt before he is handed more opportunities by Erik ten Hag.

Goreis therefore set to be loaned out with several League One clubs interested.

The Mail report that promotion-chasing Bolton and Blackpool are keen on him.

And further down the table – Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town and Fleetwood have enquired about Gore.

Man Utd have already loaned out seven players this January.

Donny van de Beek has been sent to Eintracht Frankfurt and Jadon Sancho is also in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.

Hannibal Mejbri has gone to Sevilla and Alvaro Fernandez is now at Benfica.

Both could become permanent moves in the summer.


Meanwhile, highly-rated striker Joe Hugill has been loaned out to League One club Burton Albion.

And in the division below, Forest Green have Maxi Oyedele and Rhys Bennett is with Stockport until the end of the season.
