Maidstone United secured a historic 2-1 victory over Ipswich Town to progress in the FA Cup – but it was the heroics of Lucas Covolan which has grabbed the attention of most.

The Brazilian shot-stopper ensured that the National League South side knocked out the Tractor Boys, with a series of fine saves at the death.

Despite going into the contest as huge underdogs, The Stones overturned Ispwich, who could well be in the Premier League next season.

Straight after the final whistle blew, Covolan sat down and appeared to rub his eyes, full of emotion.
