Rashford has scored 17 goals in 59 appearances for England, and he was one of the nation’s bright sparks when the Three Lions made it to the World Cup quarter-finals in 2022. Southgate’s side will head into Euro 2024 as one of the favourites to go all the way.
After Rashford and his agent met with United sporting director John Murtough on Monday, the club said: “Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions. This has been dealth with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed.”
The forward, who scored 30 goals in all competitions last campaign, is now back in training and available for selection ahead of the trip to Wolves on Thursday evening.
