Willian Pacho is attracting high-profile interest after just six months in the Bundesliga, according to German media.
The Ecuador international was signed by Eintracht Frankfurt from Royal Antwerp in the summer after helping the Belgian side win the Jupiler Pro League last season. Pacho was signed for €9 million with the clear intention being to eventually flip him for a massive profit.
Already highly rated during his time in Belgian, the 22-year-old has justified the faith put in him by the Eintracht bosses. Pacho has been one of the standout defenders in Germany this season, impressing with his awareness, athleticism and ability on the ball. Still, his meteoric rise to prominence has taken even the people of Frankfurt by surprise.
According to BILD, the initial plan for Pacho was to keep him in the Bundesliga until 2025 or 2026, but his good form this term could speed up his departure. The report asserts that the Ecuadorian has already caught the eye of the Premier League’s elite.
Pacho to the Premier League?
It is claimed that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have already developed a concrete interest in the young defender, with other European giants such as Real Madrid and Napoli also keen on the 22-year-old’s signature.
Pacho, the report states, could already be sold in the summer if a suitable offer comes in. The left-footed centre-back does not have a release clause, which means that the ball will ultimately be in Eintracht’s court.
At this moment in time, Pacho is valued at around €60 million by the German side, but they are well aware that he will be a sought-after commodity in the summer given the dearth of top-class left-footed centre-backs on the market. His price could, therefore, rise even further.
