The Ajaxplayer is under serious consideration on deadline day, with the Reds trying to bolster their attack. The 28-year-old has only been at the Dutch giants for only six months but now may face the exit.
Akpom has made 20 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring nine goals, which has led to several Premier League sides being interested in the forward.
It’s believed that Ajax are reluctant to let Akpom leave the Johan Cruyff Arena but a decent offer could tempt them. Fulhamhave also been linked to Akpom but now it appears that their sights are set on Armando Broja.
Chelsea had stated that the Albanian forward would not go less than €46million, but on the final day of the window, they briefed that they would be open to a loan deal. It is now believed that the Slough-born player will have to choose between the West London side and Wolves.
