Transfer news LIVE: Dominic Solanke eyed by Spurs in late swoop EXCLUSIVE, £50m Broja TWIST, Mbappe updates

Marquinhos on the move

Arsenal ace Marquinhos is close to a return to Brazil before Thursday’s transfer deadline day.

According to the Evening Standard, the 20-year-old is expected to leave the Emirates after two loan stints to Norwich as well as Nantes.

Fluminense are dubbed as the frontrunners to land the winger but Corinthians are also keeping tabs.

The Brazilian transfer window does not close until March and talks are “accelerating” for the Brazil Under-23 international.

More on Reyna

Borussia Dortmund ace Giovanni Reyna is set to join Nottingham Forest on loan.

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, however, Reyna has signed a new deal with Dortmund valid until June 2026.

That means the playmaker’s move to Forest is a straight loan without an option to buy.

The USA international is now ready to undergo a medical in Nottingham.

Man Utd squad ‘tired’ of Rashford

Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford faces an uphill battle to win over the dressing room as his teammates have grown tired of his selfish behaviour.

Rashford was regarded as one of the team’s leaders and manager Erik ten Hag held him in such high regard that some within the dressing room believe he was happy to let players who he feared were a bad influence on him to leave.

But despite being at the club since he was a boy, the 26-year-old has now been left feeling isolated after his friends were either sold or sent out on loan.

Marcus no longer has the same lads around him and doesn’t get involved in the banter as much.

He can be very moody in training and in games and just doesn’t seem happy.

He doesn’t really hang around with any of the players anymore and seems distant.

Johnson on Klopp replacement

Former Liverpool ace Glen Johnson has claimed that Xabi Alonso replacing manager Jurgen Klopp would “scare” him.

I’d be a bit scared to appoint Xabi Alonso or Steven Gerrard.

The next appointment is going to be really tough and I’d be worried about bringing someone in with so little experience.

Also, I think we’ve seen bringing a legend back to manage the club can often not work out.

PSG target Rashford

Paris Saint-Germain are interested in landing Manchester United star Marcus Rashford after he held showdown talks with manager Erik ten Hag.

Rashford claimed to be too ill to train on Friday, before it emerged he had been partying in Belfast the previous night.

The forward subsequently missed the Red Devils’ 4-2 victory over Newport in the FA Cup.

PSG previously showed interest in the England international before he signed a new five-year deal last summer.

According to the i, The Ligue 1 champions are “tempted” to come back in for the 26-year-old at the end of the season.

The Manchester giants do not plan to sell their homegrown star and he is also claimed to not be seeking a move at the moment.

Following his disciplinary breach last week, Rashford was slapped with a two-week fine, worth £650,000.

Arsenal scout Ousmane Diomande

Arsenal sent scouts to the Africa Cup of Nations to watch Ivory Coast star Ousmane Diomande.

Diomande, who plays for Sporting Lisbon, has been catching the attention of some of the biggest teams in Europe.

According to A Bola, the Gunners are among the heavyweights who are monitoring the centre-back’s progress.

The North Londoners launched a £30m bid for the 20-year-old in the summer only to see it rejected by Sporting but remain interested.
