Arsenal defender Ben White is close to signing a new deal with the North London club, FootballTransfers can reveal.

The centre-back has been in talks with the club over fresh terms since last year but now we are told a contract of four years plus the option of an extra one is close to being finailsed. The 26-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Brighton for €58million in the summer of 2021, has quickly become a crucial part of Mikel Arteta’s defensive setup, and the club wish to merit that with a new deal at the Emirates.
