Stars like Martin Odegaard toasted the victory with jubilant celebrations after the final whistle.

But it left a sour taste in the mouth for Carragher, who ranted: “Just get down the tunnel, you’ve won a game.”

Liverpool ace Curtis Jones added the Gunners had “stolen our stuff.”

Yet Arsenal have since been defended by kings of the beautiful game, including Manchester United legend Roy Keane.

Arteta himself reckons the celebrations do not suggest Arsenal lack the serious mentality needed for a title bid.

And the Gunners certainly proved their credentials today as they raced into a four-goal lead by half-time at West Ham.

They went on to win 6-0 in a resilient showing.

Now, former Chelsea manager Mourinho has had his say on the matter.

The three-time Premier League winner was never one to shy away from toasting victory on the pitch.

He even ran the full length of the Old Trafford pitch after his Porto side dumped Man United out of the Champions League in 2004 before going on to win the competition.

And Mourinho took to Instagram to settle the debate around Arsenal’s celebrations once and for all.

Posting a compilation of some of his wildest party moments during matches, the Special One quoted his favourite catchphrase in a caption: “What do I think of managers’ celebrations after a victory?

“’I prefer not to speak’.”

Mourinho remains on the hunt for a new club after being sacked by Roma.

He has been linked with a third spell at Chelsea.

And last month Mourinho was tipped for move to Saudi Arabia.
