Man Utd could lose their own Bukayo Saka as ‘Prem rivals circle’ after stunning displays | Football | Sport

Manchester United’s young star, Bendito Mantato, is turning heads with his impressive performance in the academy and is reportedly wanted by Premier League clubs.

The 16-year-old is highly rated by United and has hit a purple patch, having scored six goals in just three games. His stunning form has only alerted more clubs, with United yet to secure his future.

It was reported last month that many clubs hold an interest in the talented young player, who can play either as a left-back or a winger. Mantato is said to be mulling over his next move despite United being keen to tie him down. He recently scored four times in a match against Blackburn, helping the Under-18s win 5-2. He also scored in back-to-back friendly games for the Under-21s last weekend.

The academy team travelled to France over the weekend. They played friendly matches against AS Monaco and OGC Nice. The young Reds beat Monaco 2-1, with Mantato scoring the winning goal. Another promising player, Amir Ibragimov, also scored in this match.

Unfortunately, United were beaten 3-2 by Nice on Easter Monday, but Mantato managed to score again. The Manchester Evening News claim that several clubs are keeping an eye on the youngster, including some of United’s Premier League rivals. The young player, who is known for his speed, has been scoring goals left and right. It’s believed that he will eventually play on the right wing because of his attacking skills.

Mantato’s amazing ability to score – six goals in three games – has caught the attention of many clubs. He has already trained with the first team on several occasions and is improving as a player with each passing week and he continues to develop. His skill at dribbling is a big plus, and many within the club believe he has a bright future at Old Trafford.

The same report claims that talks are happening with United and that they are about to enter a critical stage. The club hopes to make a deal that will convince the 16-year-old to stay in Manchester after showing off his skills in the academy. Other Premier League teams are still interested in the promising Mantato. The MEN report that if he were to switch clubs, United would get a six-figure sum as compensation.

Mantato can play as a left-back or on the wing. His style and performances this season have seen him earn comparisons with Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, who also started as a defender before moving forward. Mantato joined United’s academy when he was nine and has played for England’s youth teams. He recently made his debut for the Under-16s team for the Three Lions.
