Leverkusen wants a Bruges player this summer. The jackpot?

At Club Bruges, they have long excelled in buying players at a reasonable price to sell them for a higher price later.

This could once again be the case this summer with a player who has caught the eye of a club everyone is talking about this season, Bayer Leverkusen, who is playing in the Europa League final against Atalanta in Dublin this Wednesday.

The jackpot for Bruges?

A club that wants to strengthen to continue competing on multiple fronts next season is considering Antonio Nusa. While the player had a mixed season at Bruges, his style is highly appealing to Xabi Alonso, who has thus made him a target.

And for the Blauw en Zwart, there is a good financial deal to be made. Purchased for €3 million from Stabaek, he is valued at €17 million by the specialized site Transfermarkt. His value even rose to €20 million recently.

For the new management at Bruges, a decision will need to be made if a significant offer arrives. Under contract until 2027, Nusa could be crucial if Bruges wins the title and qualifies for the Champions League, but there may be better options to pursue with the money he would bring in.
