Who will succeed Mike Trésor, winner of the Player of the Year award twelve months ago? The answer will be revealed this Monday evening, in the renovated casino of Middelkerke.

Just a few hours after the final whistle of the 2023-2024 season, it’s time for the Pro League Awards this Monday, in the renovated casino of Middelkerke.

While the nominees for the Player of the Year award will only be announced this Monday at 14:00, it’s highly likely that the podium will feature Cameron Puertas, Kévin Denkey, and Hans Vanaken. Others might disrupt their chances, but the top assist provider, the top goal scorer, and the captain of the championship team have clearly outpaced their competitors.

Who will succeed Mike Trésor and Mark Van Bommel? The other category whose nominees will be announced later in the day is that of Coach of the Year. To succeed Mark Van Bommel, names like Alexander Blessin, Thorsten Fink, or Miron Muslic could be mentioned, as Nicky Hayen, who arrived too late as Club’s head coach, is unlikely to be considered.
