Union already knows its potential opponents in the Champions League preliminaries: tough matchups ahead!

Four possible opponents for Union Saint-Gilloise, which will not be seeded, in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

Tough competition ahead for Union in the Champions League

The residents of Parc Duden (and Lotto Park, in European competitions) will not be seeded and will have a tough task ahead to join the Club in the big pool of 36 teams in this new format of the competition.

Union Saint-Gilloise’s four potential opponents are Rangers featuring Nicolas Raskin and Philippe Clément, Slavia Prague, Red Bull Salzburg, which has just seen both domestic titles slip away to Sturm Graz featuring Dimitri Lavalée, and Lille.

For Union, winning this third qualifying round and the subsequent playoff will be necessary to advance to the Champions League group stage.
