Belgium will soon play in Euro 2024 in Germany. The Red Devils have negotiated bonuses with the Federation.
Belgium will fly to Germany on June 12 to compete in the European Football Championship. Coach Domenico Tedesco has recently unveiled his squad.
The Red Devils are in Group E, alongside Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine. They will play their opening game against Slovakia on June 17.
As Het Laatste Nieuws explains, the Red Devils negotiated participation bonuses last spring. Each player is guaranteed to receive 42,000 euros gross, even in case of elimination after the group stage.
If Belgium reaches the round of 16, the players will receive 80,000 euros. In case of qualification for the quarterfinals, each Devil will receive the sum of 180,000 euros.
In case of reaching the semi-finals, the bonus will rise to 280,000 euros. It will then be 312,000 euros in case of third place, 330,000 euros if Belgium loses in the final, 445,000 euros in case of victory in the final. In total, the Federation could therefore spend 11 million euros; This will be offset by the UEFA check, which could amount to up to 34 million euros.
