OFFICIAL: Club Brugge have made their decision about Nicky Hayen!

Club Brugge owe a lot to Nicky Hayen. The coach has managed to turn things around in record time and win the Belgian championship title.

Nicky Hayen arrived as a replacement for Ronny Deila when Club Brugge were going through a difficult period. The former U23 coach did more than just convince.

Indeed, Bruges were unstoppable in the Champions Play-offs and won the title ahead of Union and RSC Anderlecht.

Nicky Hayen extends his stay at Club Brugge

In recent weeks, Nicky Hayen’s future at Club Brugge has been uncertain. There was very little information about an extension.

But now it’s official: Hayen will remain on the Club Brugge bench next season. The club announced this on Monday afternoon.

The statement also explains that Robin Veldman (38), coach of Club NXT, will also stay next season. He has signed an indefinite contract.
