In addition to head coach Hans Somers and Hans Visser, Siebe Blondelle is also leaving KMSK Deinze. The assistant coach has also already found a new challenge. The former central defender will join Club Brugge’s U18s as head coach.
Blondelle was a player at KMSK Deinze for four years and then became Somers’ assistant. He previously played for VVV Venlo, Vitesse, Rot Weiss Ahlen, FCV Dender EH, SK Beveren (then still Waasland-Beveren) and KAS Eupen. Now he wants to take the next step in his career.
Blondelle looks back fondly on his time at Deinze. “The club will always have a special place in my heart,” he says. “It’s the club where I hung up my boots and where my coaching career began. I want to thank everyone and wish you all the best.”
A few months ago, Michiel Jonckheere was still the head coach of the U18s at Club Brugge, but he has since moved to the first team.
