Sporting Charleroi snap up Belgian talent from Ligue 1!

Smart move for Sporting Charleroi. Young Noam Mayoka-Tika will come to Belgium in search of playing time.

Sporting Charleroi’s transfer window has picked up pace in recent weeks. The Zèbres have recently confirmed the arrivals of Mardochée Nzita from Challenger Pro League champions Beerschot. Théo Defourny has also joined, potentially to replace Hervé Koffi, who is expected to leave for Lens.

Now, a third talent, and again a Belgian, is set to strengthen the Charleroi squad. The arrival of Noam Mayoka-Tika (20) was officialised on Tuesday by Sporting. He has signed a three-year contract at Mambourg.

Mayoka-Tika is returning “home” as he was born in Charleroi and came through the ranks at Excelsior Mouscron. He had the opportunity to make his professional debut there, playing three matches for the Hurlus before joining Westerlo’s U21s.
