Anderlecht: Pre-season opponents announced

Sporting’s players will return to Neerpede this weekend to begin their pre-season preparation.

Sporting d’Anderlecht have unveiled their pre-season schedule. The Mauves will return to training this weekend, before their first friendly match against Tubize at the Stade Leburton on Wednesday.

On 29 June, Sporting will face newly-promoted Dender behind closed doors at Neerpede. Then, from 7 to 14 July, Brian Riemer’s squad will fly off for a training camp in Portugal in the Algarve, where they will face Braga on the last day.

On Fan Day, supporters will have the pleasure of seeing former Mauves (Lukas Nmecha and Sebastiaan Bornauw) with the visit of Wolfsburg on 20 July (read here).

The following day, a final friendly against FC Metz (behind closed doors at the Neerpede training centre) will bring the pre-season preparation to a close.
