Amadou Onana in High Demand: “Man Utd Offers €55 Million”

Several Belgian Red Devils are linked with transfers ahead of the summer transfer window. Midfielder Amadou Onana, in particular, is in hot demand. Several top European clubs are in the running for the Everton player.

FC Barcelona, in search of a defensive midfielder, is said to have placed Onana at the top of its priority list. However, the Catalans are facing financial problems and Everton are demanding a significant sum for the Belgian international. Manchester United is not sitting idle.

Monster Bid

Onana still has a long-term contract with Everton and his market value is estimated at €50 million. The Toffees are therefore not keen to let the 1.95m tall midfielder go so easily. Man Utd is taking the bull by the horns and offering a fixed fee of €55 million, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

FC Barcelona therefore seems to be losing ground in the battle for Onana. The Catalans will have to sell first before they can put significant sums on the table. In the meantime, Onana is concentrating on the European Championship, but behind the scenes, a transfer seems to be taking shape. English club Arsenal has also been mentioned behind the scenes for some time.

Belgian Red Devil

Onana is currently active with the Belgian Red Devils at the European Championship in Germany. Under the guidance of national coach Domenico Tedesco, the tall midfielder is an undisputed starter. Onana has also become one of the leaders of the Belgian national team and has already made 15 appearances.
