For the first training session of the new season, many familiar faces were still missing at Club Brugge. Some of them may never return to Westkapelle.
While Éder Balanta has bid farewell and Denis Odoi seems on his way to Antwerp, Club are hoping to find a solution for Roman Yaremchuk, Dedryck Boyata and Kamal Sowah. In addition, Raphael Onyedika and Andreas Skov Olsen seem likely to bring in some cash.
Nusa to London?
The Blauw and Zwart, who have already sold Igor Thiago, could see other key players leave. First and foremost, Antonio Nusa, who seemed set for Brentford in January before a knee problem ruined everything.
Although the 19-year-old Norwegian has rarely managed to establish himself at the Jan Breydel, interest in him does not seem to have cooled down. In England, in particular, Nusa is still in high demand. Some time ago, it emerged that Crystal Palace also had their sights on the winger.
Club Want Cash
This information was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, who had closely followed the affair with Brentford at the time. According to the transfer guru, Nusa is one of the concrete candidates in London to replace Michael Olise, who could join Bayern Munich.
So we will have to wait and see if the team that finished 10th in the Premier League last season is ready to push the boat out for Nusa, whose price tag would still be around £30 million, despite all the fears surrounding him.
