Who will replace the suspended Dodi Lukebakio against Ukraine? Leandro Trossard? Jérémy Doku, with Yannick Carrasco on the left? Or Johan Bakayoko?
The PSV player, who has yet to start for Roberto Martinez in this European Championship, came on as a substitute after 33 minutes against Slovakia.
Linked with a transfer for the past few weeks, the 21-year-old is expected to leave the Dutch league after the Euros. And the biggest clubs in Europe are on his trail.
Arsenal enter the race for Johan Bakayoko
After Bayern Munich and Liverpool, it’s now Arsenal, the reigning English runners-up, who are throwing their hat into the ring to sign Johan Bakayoko, according to the Nieuwsblad.
While the young right winger will obviously not negotiate his transfer until after the European Championship, the Gunners can already make enquiries with the Eindhoven club.
Johan Bakayoko is an more than interesting prospect, but it will take a hefty cheque to lure him. The Overijse-born player is valued at €45 million, a sum that PSV will not hesitate to demand.
