With the departure of Igor Thiago to Brentford, Ferran Jutglà could become Club Brugge’s number one striker next season. However, it is also possible that the Spanish goalscorer could change clubs this summer.
According to information from Portuguese media outlet Record, the 25-year-old is on the radar of Sporting CP. After snatching Zeno Debast from RSC Anderlecht, the reigning Portuguese champions would like to sign Jutglà.
However, the Spanish striker is not the only player on the Portuguese club’s list. Indeed, Fotis Ionnadis (Panathinaikos striker) is also being tracked by Sporting.
€7.5M
To convince Bruges to let Jutglà go, the Portuguese club will have to pay a hefty sum of money. Indeed, the player trained at FC Barcelona is still under contract with the Blauw en Zwart until June 2026, and his value is estimated at €7.5 million by Transfermarkt.
As a reminder, Jutglà scored 11 goals and provided 9 assists in 50 appearances last season.
