Antonio Conte sends a clear message about Romelu Lukaku

Big Rom’s whereabouts next season are still uncertain. However, it seems that Italy remains a strong possibility.

Romelu Lukaku is still under contract with Chelsea for two more years, but the chances of him returning to play there next season seem slim. After being loaned out to Inter and then Roma, Chelsea now wants to sell him.

His future is unclear, however, Napoli’s name is being strongly linked as Antonio Conte will take charge of the team and would like to reunite with the striker he knew at Inter.

The club could lose its top scorer Victor Osimhen, and Lukaku would be a perfect replacement. Especially since Antonio Conte appreciates the Belgian whom he knows well: “He’s an excellent player. A true great player. That’s all there is to say. You always hope to have a player like Romelu in your team. And not as an opponent,” Conte said at his presentation. A clear and beautiful statement.
