German Club Makes Offer for Killian Sardella

Pre-season preparations are well underway at RSC Anderlecht. On Wednesday, the Brussels club played their first training match. However, for the time being, the first summer transfer window signings are still awaited.

Sporting have been back in training since last weekend. For the time being, coach Brian Riemer has to make do with a modest selection. RSCA obviously cannot count on its players who are at the European Championship. And those who had/have international commitments at the beginning of the month will join the group later.

Riemer will also have to do without some significant players for the time being. A situation that could last for some time. There are several reasons for this. The European transfer carousel is starting much later this summer due to the international tournaments.

The Black and Whites are still waiting for the finalization of the long-awaited transfer of Zeno Debast to Sporting CP. Indeed, the income generated by the young defender is important for recruiting reinforcements. Other players could also boost the club’s coffers.

Killian Sardella, for example, is also said to be on the verge of leaving. The right-back has long seemed below the level desired by the Black and Whites, but last season was marked by a complete turnaround. The young product of the club has even become one of the pillars of the team.

Werder Bremen

These good performances do not seem to have gone unnoticed abroad either. LigaInsider reports that Werder Bremen has its sights set on Sardella. The number nine of last season in the Bundesliga would see him as an ideal competitor for Felix Agu and Olivier Deman.

Werder have reportedly even made an offer to the player and Sardella is not averse to a move to the Weser Stadium. However, it will not be easy to reach an agreement at club level. Indeed, the Germans hope to snatch him up for below his market value, estimated at around 5 million euros.
