RFC Liège are continuing their transfer activity. Les Sang et Marine have just announced a new signing.
Finishing 7th in the defunct Challenger Pro League season, RFC Liège will be aiming to establish themselves in the lower reaches of Belgian football’s top tier.
Les Sang et Marine have seen a lot of movement in their squad, with defender Benjamin van den Ackerveken leaving the club recently.
To strengthen themselves, especially with an eye to the future, RFC Liège have taken a gamble by signing the very young Liam Moreau, who is just 16 years old. He has signed a two-year contract, with an option for a third year.
Moreau had been on trial since the start of pre-season training. He has previously played for Racing Luxembourg, Charleroi, Standard and Virton.
Somewhat surprisingly, Liam Moreau is a former Benjamin category 60m athletics champion.
