OFFICIAL: Club Brugge announce the signing of Zaid Romero

Club Brugge have won the Belgian league title this season. The Blauw en Zwart want to make an ambitious and coherent transfer window.

That’s it: Club Brugge have finally made their second signing of the summer transfer window, after Ardon Jashari.

On Sunday, the Bruges club announced the arrival of Zaid Romero, a 24-year-old Argentinian central defender.

Romero arrives from Estudiantes La Plata, where he played 63 games.

Club Brugge are expected to pay around €6 million to sign Zaid Romero. He is the first Argentinian player to wear the Club’s colours.

“Zaid Romero is Club Brugge’s second summer transfer. The Argentinian defender has signed a contract until 2028 with the Club,” explains the short statement.
