RAAL La Louvière continues its interesting transfer window and signs a young French talent

RAAL La Louvière has officially announced the arrival of a player from National 3 (France). He is a young left-footed defender who will have to raise his game.

Djibril Lamego (21) officially joins La Louvière’s “pack”. RAAL has announced the arrival of the left-footed central defender from Chantilly, with whom he won the National 3 championship.

Lamego is therefore arriving from the French fifth division, on a free transfer as he was out of contract at Chantilly. He will have to raise his game to establish himself in the Challenger Pro League and is a bet on the future for the Louviérois club.

Born in Paris, Djibril Lamego was trained at Red Star and then Amiens before joining Chantilly at the age of 19. He played 21 N3 matches last season, scoring 3 goals from his position as central defender.

The RAAL project, led by Nicolas Frutos, Silvio Proto and Enzo Scifo, with the aim of eventually returning to D1A, continues to take shape with this new transfer. Djibril Lamego has committed to Tivoli until 2026.
