The striker will no longer wear the Club Brugge shirt. The Premier League awaits him.

Igor Thiago has given his first interview as a Brentford player on the club’s website. The player has not forgotten Bruges, who helped him achieve his dream.

“I’m hungry and I always want to do more. Since I left Brazil, that’s what I’ve always wanted to do in my career: win more titles, make a name for myself, write history,” says the player who helped Club win a surprise title in a comeback last season.

“I was able to achieve great things at Club Brugge. The fact that I was able to help my teammates win the title was very important to me. It took a lot of hard work and dedication. Everyone kept believing in me, even when I wasn’t feeling my best,” says the Brazilian.

Thiago ready for the Premier League

Thiago arrives at Brentford very confident and hungry for success: “If you put in a lot of hard work, dedication and commitment, good things will come. I’m ready for the Premier League!”
