KRC Genk are showing no signs of slowing down in the transfer market as they close in on another new signing.
KRC Genk endured a rather disappointing 2023-24 season, missing out on European football next season.
As a result, they are preparing for a number of departures, as well as several arrivals. The transfers of Jarne Steuckers, Matte Smets and Adrian Palacios have already been formalized.
In addition, a new incoming transfer should soon be announced at the Cegeka Arena: that of Luka Lukanic.
Lukanic is a 20-year-old Croatian defensive midfielder who plays for Dinamo Zagreb. This season, he was loaned to Bosnian club Zrinjski Mostar.
According to Het Belang Van Limburg, he will initially play for Jong Genk before integrating into the first team. The transfer is expected to be announced this week.
