Mohamed Amoura close to departure: Union set to receive a hefty sum!

Mohamed Amoura has had an impressive season at Union Saint-Gilloise. The Algerian striker is expected to leave the Belgian league this summer.

In his first season in the Pro League, Mohamed Amoura quickly made his mark. Despite a dip in form during the playoffs, his stock has risen sharply.

The Algerian international has been linked with several top European clubs for months, including Tottenham and West Ham.

He is also attracting interest in Germany, from Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg. In fact, it is Wolfsburg who are reportedly closest to signing him.

Things have reportedly accelerated in recent days. French media outlet Foot Mercato claims that a deal is very close to being finalized.

Union were looking for €15 million for Amoura, but they could receive up to €20 million. The club’s record sale is Victor Boniface’s €21.7 million move to Leverkusen.
