Domenico Tedesco is under fire. He is being criticized for his management of the group and his choices during the Euro.
Observers would undoubtedly not be very happy to see Domenico Tedesco remain at the helm of the Red Devils after this very disappointing Euro.
However, that should be the case. Belgian FA CEO Piet Vandendriessche had explained that Tedesco should remain in his position until 2026.
If Tedesco were to leave, former players, coaches and now analysts René Vandereycken and Franky Van Der Elst would like to see…Hein Vanhaezebrouck – who has left Ghent and is on a sabbatical – take over the reins.
“I am convinced that Hein would be a good national coach. Many other Belgians are not available. Philippe Clement is with Glasgow Rangers,” Vandereycken told Het Belang Van Limburg.
“Vanhaezebrouck is a good coach. If Tedesco leaves, we need to turn to Hein quickly,” Van Der Elst continued.
