Anderlecht to play a “secret” match

For Belgian clubs, the new season will start again quite quickly. In the Jupiler Pro League, the pace of preparation has therefore been accelerated.

This will be the case for Anderlecht, who have scheduled a training match against a secret opponent for this Saturday. This will be an opportunity to take stock before flying to Portugal next week, where Riemer’s men will be on a training camp.

A “secret” match

As a reminder, Anderlecht have managed to secure a place in the Europa League preliminary rounds. In addition to being ready for the start of the league, they will also need to step up their game to be at the right level from August onwards.

For Anderlecht, participation in the Europa League would obviously be a good thing, with money at stake and also the opportunity to gain experience and perhaps convince players to sign.

For the moment, there is talk mainly of departures at Sporting, but the management is working on strengthening the squad. So far, there has been more talk of outgoing transfers, but the idea is obviously to make official incoming transfers.
