Seraing, after a difficult season, are aiming to secure their place in the Challenger Pro League without having to fight until the last minute. To move forward, the Métallos have decided to strengthen their squad. And this Saturday, they have officially announced the arrival of a French defender who played in National 2 last season.
“I immediately felt the confidence”
Able to play at left-back or in a more central position, the 24-year-old has signed a one-season contract with Seraing. “I mainly play as a left-back but I can also play as a left centre-back. I would say that my main qualities are my speed, my endurance and my crossing ability,” explains the player.
“I was trained at Olympique de Marseille and AC Ajaccio. I then went to the United States for two years where I played for Stetson University, in the NCAA first division. I then returned to France to play for 6 months in National 2, at Hyères 83, before joining Sporting Club de Toulon, also in National 2, where I played last season,” he adds.
On his choice to join Seraing, he says: “I had contacts with the sporting director, Mario Mendoza. Last week, I came to the club and I immediately felt the confidence of the coach and the staff. Our discussions were conclusive and I then made the decision to join the project!”
