Union Saint-Gilloise is facing a hectic end to the transfer window. Indeed, several key players at the Brussels club are set to leave.
For now, Cameron Puertas seems to be the player closest to the exit door. The Swiss midfielder is being tracked by a few German and English clubs. His transfer could bring between 12 and 15 million euros to Union.
Koki Machida could also be on his way out. On Thursday, several German media outlets reported that the Japanese defender could join Eintracht Frankfurt. The German club is reportedly already in contact with Union to reach an agreement for Machida’s transfer. The latter is said to be excited about the prospect of continuing his career in the Bundesliga.
For its part, the Brussels club is reportedly willing to sell its Japanese international for a fee of 8 million euros. If everyone plays their part, this transfer should be able to go through before the end of the transfer window.
