Philip Zinckernagel is very likely to leave Club Brugge to return to his formative club, Bodo/Glimt. However, the Norwegian club would like to include him in their squad for their European play-off, but time is of the essence.

The adventure between Philip Zinckernagel and Club Brugge is coming to an end. Recruited under Ronny Deila, the Dane never managed to find his place when his former mentor was sacked during the last season.

Under Nicky Hayen, the former Standard player is no longer seeing the pitch, and a departure is inevitable. One of his former clubs has been following the situation since the beginning of the summer.

Bodo/Glimt wants to sign Philip Zinckernagel within three days

As we told you last week, Bodo/Glimt is particularly keen to bring Zinckernagel back to Norway. During his first spell, the attacking midfielder scored 35 goals and provided 36 assists in 89 appearances.

This Friday, Norwegian media outlet Nettavisen wrote that Bodo/Glimt is in a race against time, as the Norwegian champions would like to have signed Philip Zinckernagel by Monday, the deadline for submitting the list of players available for the European play-off.

On Tuesday, Bodo/Glimt will host Red Star Belgrade in the final preliminary round of the Champions League, before travelling to Serbia the following week. The Norwegian club therefore has only three days left to close the deal and include Zinckernagel.
