Niklas Dorsch has been linked with a move to Anderlecht for the past few days. The former Gent player is indeed on RSCA’s radar but is not a top priority.

Niklas Dorsch is a defensive midfielder and Brian Riemer can already count on Mats Rits, Majeed Ashimeru and, if necessary, Théo Leoni can also play there. It’s certainly a sign for Rits that Anderlecht are looking at this profile.

However, a deal is far from done, especially with Augsburg. The Germans are not interested in a loan with an option to buy. If they let Dorsch go, a transfer fee must be put on the table immediately.

And Fredberg currently has other fish to fry. He is also not blind and realizes that a creative player needs to be brought to the Sporting. And due to the recurring injury problems of Francis Amuzu, a winger is also a priority.

Indeed, Anderlecht may have to play with Stroeykens or Verschaeren on the wing again, and that’s not their best position. That’s why a fast, dribbling profile is at the top of the sporting director’s wishlist for RSCA.

Because Nilson Angulo proved yesterday that he is not yet ready to maintain the same level week after week. After the match, the Ecuadorian had to be comforted by the players, the technical staff and Fredberg himself.
