Kortrijk eye surprise move for highly-rated Croatian prospect

KV Kortrijk are looking to make another signing before the transfer window closes. The Kerels are interested in Roko Simic of RB Salzburg.

They’re still eager to strengthen their squad in the transfer market and could take advantage of their connections with Cardiff City, who play in the Championship.

As reported by Het Laatste Nieuws, the Welsh club are on the verge of signing 20-year-old Croatian international Roko Simic from RB Salzburg.

Cardiff City’s plan is to loan Simic out to Kortrijk for the season. Simic, capped 20 times and scoring 8 goals for Croatia at youth level, is valued at €6 million according to Transfermarkt, having been worth €10 million less than a year ago.
