Anderlecht pipped at the post… by Antwerp for one of their former gems?

Antwerp has set its sights on Dennis Praet. The 30-year-old midfielder is currently a free agent following his departure from Leicester City. Praet was already on Anderlecht’s radar, but he preferred to wait for an offer from an Italian club.

For Antwerp, the need for reinforcements is clear. The club currently has a limited squad with few options. The potential arrival of Dennis Praet would not only increase the quality in midfield but would also add the necessary depth to the team.

A deal with Antwerp would mean Praet’s return to the Jupiler Pro League after eight years, where he had already excelled as an Anderlecht player. He notably won the Golden Shoe.
